This week features a wrap-up of the high school hockey season, a recap of Reid Sturos’ stellar weekend, a big week by four former Huskies playing overseas, a shutout by Josh Robinson, the Mel Pearson show, and much more! Recruits Joel L’Esperance had a big start to the month. L’Esperance scored the game-winning goal and added two assists in Tri-City’s (USHL) 6–4 win over Indiana Friday night.

Recruits Reid Sturos had a three-point weekend for the Nanaimo Clippers (BCHL). He scored a goal the Clippers’ only goal in a 7–1 loss Friday night. Recruits Tyler Heinonen is off to a good start with the Muskegon Lumberjacks (USHL), scoring 3 goals and an assist in his first three games and is tied for 5th in the USHL in goals scored. Heinonen also helped with a Rally for Reading by signing autographs and meeting many of the young Lumberjacks fans. C
