In the final WCHA Web Media Poll, we nearly had a few ties but not quite. Minnesota and St. Cloud State split the regular season title so it makes sense that they would each receive six first place votes this week, but Minnesota was not listed below second on any ballot and finishes the regular season ranked number one while SCSU remains second. North Dakota received all twelve third place votes. Denver, Wisconsin and Minnesota State finished WCHA play tied in points and were separated by six points in the poll. Denver and Minnesota State swapped spots with the Pioneers climbing to fourth while the Mavericks dropped to sixth. Wisconsin remained fifth. The bottom six teams remained unchanged and will be on the road for WCHA playoffs this weekend.
