John Scott wins the puck battle vs R.J. Umberger, Courtesy of the Chicago Blackhawks

John Scott was once again unable to find a willing partner to take a few punches.  It’s good to see he’s staying in the lineup for the Chicago Blackhawks.  Hopefully he’ll soon get another opportunity to teach an opponent not to mess with the Blackhawks.

NHL.com has a nice story on the turnaround at Michigan Tech, including quotes from Mel Pearson and Brett Olson.

A week old but worth mentioning here, Jess Myers looked at what Michigan Tech had accomplished through the first 8 games and how it’s no surprise to those in charge in Houghton.

Stephen Anderson, Huskies beat writer for The Daily Mining Gazette, had a nice article on what the Huskies are doing during their bye week: Not really an off week.
