After a week off for the holiday break, the WCHA Web Media Poll returns for Week 12. With a dominating performance in the Mariucci Classic, including an 8-1 thumping of Boston College, Minnesota regains the top spot with 9 of the possible 12 first place votes. North Dakota slipped to second while idle for the weekend. Nebraska Omaha had the biggest slide of the week, falling 2 spots after being swept by Quinnipiac, the Mavericks now sit at sixth. The biggest jump this week was from Michigan Tech, the Huskies had two dominant 4-0 wins to clinch their first GLI title in over 30 years and climb three spots to eighth.
