Happy Thanksgiving. Before Michigan Tech takes on St. Lawrence this weekend, here are some articles you might enjoy.

Recruits

Michigan Tech made it official for five future Huskies. Jujhar Khaira, Walker Hyland, Alex Petan, C.J. Eick and Pheonix Copley will join the Huskies for the 2012–13 season after signing National Letters of Intent earlier this month.

Alex Petan helped the Coquitlam Express (BCHL) run through the Nanaimo Clippers in a big 5–3 win. Petan was the first star, leading the team with 1 goal and 1 assist.

Pheonix Copley has some new competitionbetween the pipes in Tri-City (USHL) after the Storm traded for Adam Wilcox.

Alumni

John Scott (Chicago – NHL) was given a D+ for the season thus far by Rant Sports, which still ties him for sixth among Blackhawks defensemen. He’s been getting more opportunities now that Brian Seabrook is injured.

Riley Nelson is trying to help the Colorado Eagles (ECHL) through a rough patch. It looks like the power play is helping with that, behind Captain Nelson.

Malcolm Gwilliam helped the Evansville IceMen(CHL) get on the board, which led to a big win and propelled the IceMen into first place of the Turner Conference.
